Casting Notice for Short Film in NYC

 

We're casting for a short film, shooting in downtown New York City (Manhattan). Period piece (1986).

Location Type: Baseball card/Antique Store.

 

Shooting Date: March 4, 2024 (1-day shoot)

 

UNION STATUS:

- NON-UNION (Not SAG)

 

LEAD roles we're looking to cast:

RATE - $250 Pay + $250 Buyout = $500 Total.

Age: 18 to 22 years old. Male. African American/Black. Inquisitive and curious. A nerd for sports, sneakers and hip hop.

 

[CLERK]

Age: 50's - 60's. Male. Caucasian, South Asian, or Asian. Heavyset, facial hair, crazy hair (a plus). Eccentric, verbose and enthusiastic. A wise and obsessive card collector.

EXTRA roles we're looking to cast:

RATE: Stipend - $50 [EST. shooting timeframe: 10am - 2:30pm]

Age Range: 40's - 60's. Males.

Age Range: 18 - 22 years old. Males and/or Females.

 

Note: Self tape auditions. Potential Zoom call reading with Director, and Casting Director.
